AS YOU APPROACH the Chapel's east-facing main entrance, take note of the granite steps. This stone was locally mined. The two benches on either side of the porch are gifts from the Phi Beta Kappa Society. The wooden doors were saved from the original Chapel building and restored in 1998.

The Chapel is lined by windows. The lower level, which seats 336, is divided by a center aisle and two side aisles. The floor is gently raked toward the stage. The Yamaha C-1 baby grand piano is often used during wedding ceremonies.

The balcony surrounds the space on three sides and has a seating capacity of 97.
