THE UNIVERSITY'S CHARTER LECTURE, the Edith House Lecture Series in Law, and the President's State of the University address are just a few of the events traditionally held in the chapel. The Chapel has also been used as a recital hall by the School of Music in the past, but with the construction of the new School of Music building in the Performing and Visual Arts Complex on East Campus, the Chapel is now used primarily for lectures, meetings, weddings, and other community gatherings. Campus groups, including Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Beta Delta, Phi Kappa Phi, and the Air Force ROTC Detachment 160, use the chapel for induction ceremonies. For information about using the Chapel for your event go to the Event Reservations page. |
